About The Wine Break
The Wine Break started with a simple idea: Tamarindo needed a place to pause. A spot to slow down, taste something good, and connect — with wine, with friends, and with the town itself.
A little over a year ago, we opened our doors inside Plaza Conchal as Tamarindo's only dedicated wine store and tasting room. Since then, we've poured thousands of glasses, hosted guided tastings for total beginners and serious wine lovers alike, stocked villas for travelers before they even land, and — our favorite part — gotten to know the incredible community here, one visitor and one local at a time.
More Than a Wine Shop
We're not just a place to grab a bottle. We're a gathering spot. Some of our best afternoons are the ones where a couple wanders in for a quick tasting and ends up staying an hour, chatting with us and with other guests at the next table. That's the whole point — wine is better shared.
